Junior Science

The Junior Science department is a fun and lively department, headed by Mrs E.Cole. Boys in Years 7 and 8 will get to grips with learning about measurement, states of matter, energy, reproduction, pH and indicators, cells, and elements and compounds.

Each module is practical based and the pupils work in pairs to carry out practical investigations. For the budding scientists there is a Junior Science Club which takes place each week in the Science department. The pupils can look forward to making Halloween lanterns, dissecting organs and making their own chemical gardens.
