Boarding

A stimulating environment where pupils from Year 3 and up can focus on their academic goals, feed their personal interests and belong to a wider community.

After the successful launch of our co-ed Prep School in September 2021, we are delighted to be aligning our junior boarding provision for boys and girls.

From September 2022, our intention is to bring our dynamic and vibrant junior boarding community together into School House, a beautiful and historic boarding house, based in the main building at Monmouth School for Girls.

With outside spaces, 25 acres of playing fields, an indoor swimming pool, sports hall and fitness suite, tennis courts, Astro, dining hall, library and Performing Arts Centre, the on-site facilities for our junior boarders combined are outstanding.

Our new junior boarding house will have separate floors for the boys’ and girls’ bedrooms and each floor will retain their own space to relax.

Prep, after-school and weekend activities will be run together, building on the strong foundations laid by our co-ed Prep School.
