Monmouth School for Girls has a thriving group of keen riders that compete regularly throughout the year. The Monmouthshire countryside is the ideal place for your daughter to pursue her passion for riding and/or competing, while getting an excellent academic education.

As members of the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA), and of British Showjumping Just For Schools, we enter teams and individuals in competitions for eventing, show jumping, dressage, jumping with style (JWS), and one-day events as well as other local school events. Our teams include pupils from Years 5 to 13; riders enjoy competing together and our teams do well at these events. We regularly attend events at Kings’ EC (Bromyard), Rectory Farm, Hartpury College, Stonar School, Allens Hill EC, and the David Broome Event Centre.

The Equestrian Academy also arranges for girls to take riding lessons with dedicated trainers at Triley Fields Equestrian Centre. Girls of any level can participate in lessons, which run from absolute beginner to advanced rider on Mondays and Thursdays after school.
