Breakfast Club

We understand the importance of running a Breakfast Club for busy families and it forms part of our outstanding wraparound care provision for boys and girls at Monmouth Prep School.

We offer a fully supervised Breakfast Club provision at our sites at Agincourt; and The Grange, which is open each weekday from 7.30am

We ask parents to book their children into our Breakfast Club in advance.

However, emergencies can happen, and we are happy to accommodate and support our busy parents and families with last-minute changes of plan.

After School Club

For busy families, we recognise the importance of After-School provision with food and it forms part of our outstanding wrap-around care for children at Monmouth Prep School.

We offer a fully supervised After-School Care provision from 4pm at our sites at Agincourt, The Grange, and at our ‘satellite’ site at Monmouth School for Girls, where our boarding house is located.

Our younger children at Agincourt regularly play games and activities and can enjoy a sandwich tea and relaxation time before collection at 5.30pm.

Our children at The Grange have After-School care slots available at 4pm to 5pm and 5pm to 6pm. Children can study in the library, complete homework, read, play board games and puzzles. We provide a hot supper for children in the 5pm to 6pm slot; the final collection time is 6pm.

Our satellite’ site at Monmouth School for Girls is conveniently located and we transport our children, accompanied by members of staff, by coach at 3.45pm each day. Here, After-School Care provision for boys and girls includes Dance, Swimming and Sport. However, children can also relax in our boarding house before joining them for supper. Children can be collected from the senior girls’ dining hall at 6pm.

Parents must book their children into our After-School Care provision in advance. However, we appreciate and understand that emergencies can happen, and we are always happy to accommodate and support our busy parents and families with any last-minute changes of plan.

As part of our outstanding wrap-around care provision for busy families, we run a host of popular After-school Clubs and activities.

Opportunities range from Equestrian to Yoga and we produce a list of After-School Clubs each term; we encourage our parents and children to make their choices together.
