Monmouth School Boys’ Prep has a truly inspirational legacy of combining an excellent, traditional education with forward-thinking and innovative ideas.
It is a huge privilege for me to continue building on the school’s strengths whilst providing a happy, secure environment in which boys’ lives are enriched now, and for the future.
During a recent Open Day, I met former pupils who are now fathers themselves and planning to raise their families in this beautiful part of the world, relocating from London and further afield, to send their sons here. This profound moment spoke volumes for the life-changing effect the school had on their childhoods and how Monmouth School Boys’ Prep, in its modern and contemporary teaching spaces, encapsulates the very best of a traditional, independent education.
At Monmouth School Boys’ Prep, the pupils’ sheer exuberance and the way they throw themselves wholeheartedly into whatever is going on is a delight.
It is a relatively small, vibrant school of 135 pupils a small proportion of which are boarders at Chapel House.
Monmouth School Sports Centre and 25 acres of playing fields are right on the doorstep of our purpose-built premises – the perfect place for young boys to discover their talents, develop their personalities and flourish.
