A popular and dedicated former member of staff at Monmouth School for Girls met Her Majesty The Queen.
Miss Liz Goulding shook hands with The Queen at the opening of Haberdashers’ Hall in London in 2002.
Miss Goulding retired from Monmouth School for Girls in the summer of 2019 after 39 years’ outstanding service to return to her native, New Zealand.
Miss Goulding, for many years, excelled as the Head’s personal assistant.
An outstanding organiser, Miss Goulding arranged many important school events such as Speech Day, guest visits, interviews, Eisteddfod and St Catherine’s Day.
