In an exhilarating display of skill and determination, our U18 Girls Hockey team triumphed in the National School Girls Regional Finals held last week.

Playing three intense games of hockey, they secured a draw in one match and clinched victories in the remaining two.

The scores from the games were as follows:

1-1 against Llandaff Cathedral

6-0 victory over Bryntirion

2-0 win against Llandovery College

With these impressive results, our team has successfully secured a spot in the National Semi-Finals scheduled to take place in Wrexham on February 28th.

Sorrel Wilson, PE Teacher, said “The girls played incredibly well. They fought right until the end and showed amazing team spirit. Team moral was high, coach’s advice was acted upon, and the girls displayed some very skilful and tactical hockey. They truly deserve to qualify for the Semi-Finals and fingers crossed they will go onto qualify for the finals!”
