The Remarkable Lady Rhondda is topic of author’s lecture

Professor Angela V John will be delivering a lecture in Monmouth School for Boys Library on Monday 27th June at 6pm. **
The Remarkable Lady Rhondda: Suffragette, Businesswoman and Journalist, is the title of Professor John’s Agincourt Society Talk – 1800-1900.
Professor John is Lady Rhondda’s biographer, a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, a renowned author and a member of the Monumental Welsh Women panel.
In 2018, Professor John worked closely with Welsh National Opera on its acclaimed touring show, Rhondda Rips It Up!, based on Lady Rhondda’s life.
Professor John was a finalist in the annual Womenspire awards from Chwarae Teg, the Welsh equalities organisation, in 2019.
This event, at Monmouth School for Boys, is open to the public and we would welcome visitors.
