On Saturday 28th February, Year 12 and 11 pupils had the opportunity to attend taster lessons at Worcester College, Oxford University.  German linguistics, literature and film studies were amongst the sessions on offer, as well as a rare opportunity to view a lock of Goethe’s hair!

Pupils agreed that it was a valuable visit:

“I found the Oxford German Open Day very useful, because I was able to sample first-hand some of the components on offer on a MFL course. I especially enjoyed the literature analysis and feel inspired to read die Verwandlung by Franz Kafka”. (Aoife, Year 11)
