A Year 9 pupil at Monmouth School for Girls is celebrating after booking her place at a national equestrian finals.

Grace sealed her spot after finishing second at a National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Eventers’ Challenge qualifier at Lucton School.

Grace was second out of 42 competitors in the 80cms class and is now looking forward to competing in the finals at Hickstead from 26th to 28th May 2020.

Amelia, from Year 11, also entered the 80cms class, and finished a creditable sixth place.

The NSEA aims to promote and encourage the participation in, and recognition of, equestrian sport within schools in Great Britain.
