The Masked Singer will raise money for abandoned dogs charity

June 16, 2023

Staff at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools will be taking part in The Masked Singer to raise funds for a charity that saves stray and abandoned dogs.
Last year’s event saw a packed audience enjoy the singing talents of members of staff disguised as cartoon characters.
This year’s show takes place at The Blake Theatre on Saturday 1st July at 7pm in aid of Hope Rescue, which operates from a rescue centre in South Wales.
In 2022, Mrs Rachel Rees, Acting Head at Monmouth School for Girls, impressed with her rendition of the disco classic, I Will Survive.
However, school nurse Hollie Williams stole the show with her beautiful version of On My Own from Les Miserables.
Head of Wellbeing, Ms Sarah Fowler, compered the event 12 months ago and promises this year’s show will be a fantastic night too.
Dance group, D4Motion, will provide entertainment, while there will also be a raffle and refreshments.
