The Chapel Choir embarked on a memorable visit to Christ Church, Oxford, last Monday. Graced by the breathtaking ambiance of the cathedral, they delivered a mesmerising evensong performance that captivated all in attendance.

Once warmly greeted by the Sub-dean, the choir members seized the opportunity to take some photos in the Harry Potter filming locations. They then had the opportunity to sing beneath Wolsey’s magnificent pendant vault, marvelling at its architectural wonder – how does it stay up?!

Former choir member Ellis, now a choral scholar at Jesus College, Cambridge, reunited with the ensemble, enhancing the camaraderie and musical synergy of the event.

Music by George Dyson (his Evening Service in D), and Robert Ashfield (The Fair Chivalry) alongside responses by Bernard Rose and psalms for the day, offered the choir plenty to get their teeth into.
