Year 2 Trip to Principality Stadium, Cardiff

September 19, 2017

Year 2 enjoyed an excellent trip to Cardiff this week. They drove past Bute Park, the National Museum and Cardiff Castle before arriving at the Millenium Stadium (recently renamed as the Principality Stadium). The children were treated to an ‘access all areas’ tour which included sitting in the press box, visiting both the Home and Away dressing rooms, as well as heading along the tunnel to the rousing sounds of the Welsh National Anthem and out onto the hallowed turf! The children were all amazed by the sheer size of the 75 000 seat stadium. They visited the VIP seating area and had the chance to hold the impressive Dove Cup before a look inside one of the premium boxes. The children ate their lunch on the steps of The Senedd before a walk around the bay area in search of Snow Dogs!
