Boys across the school enjoyed listening to authors as part of Monmouth Literary Festival. PIV were amused by The Two Steves who put on a great show and are a hilarious double act.

Amidst the laughter they told the boys some pearls of wisdom to help with their writing. They also enjoyed listening to samples of their books including Challenger, a brand new adventure series that takes its inspiration from the classic adventure books. Prep I, II and III were inspired by Cathy Farr and her incredible dog Mojo.

Boys gasped at the sight of her magnificent Irish wolf hound, standing as tall as a kitchen worktop and weighing over fourteen stone! They enjoyed listening to a snippet of her novel Moon Chase and finding out her top tips for writing; using a shred of truth as a starting point and editing your writing were high up on her list.
