Richard and Dai from Severn and Wye Smokery came to dismantle our tank of elvers and to help us to release them, and a lot more elvers, into the River Wye as part of their Eels in Schools project with which we have been involved for some years. A huge treat for Prep III after the release was to sample smoked eel which, for those who have not tasted it, is delicious!
