The boys have had an enjoyable few weeks at Fun with Numbers. We have been trying to make the most of the weather and the light evenings while we can. The boys have all taken part in a Maths Trail and a Treasure Hunt, testing their knowledge of times tables and place value.

This week, due to the large number of boys that we have attending, we split into two groups. One group worked on their origami skills, first making times tables fortune tellers and then paper aeroplanes. They then took their aeroplanes outside and measured how far they flew. Meanwhile, the other group created stop frame animations using the iPads, demonstrating how times tables are made of arrays.
