On Thursday 29^th September, boys travelled to the first Brecon League fixture at Crickhowell.  In glorious weather, our juniors ran so well that the B team came 2^nd overall, out of 19 teams!  The A team were convincing winners, led by new boys Alex and Alex, in 1^st and 2^nd, closely followed by Josh 4^th and Josh (a year under age) 6^th, out of 85 runners.  The seniors followed with an almost equally convincing win, led by their youngest member Rowan, George, Robbie and Henry, who finished 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th respectively, out of 21 runners.  The second Brecon League fixture will be on Thursday 13^th October.

On Wednesday 5^th October, the S.E.Wales Inter Schools Championships were held at Monmouth Showground, again in fantastic weather.  At the time of writing, we await team results, but they will certainly make good reading, judging by the excellent individual results:

U12:  Adam 4^th, Bailey15^th, Will 21^st, Chris 32^nd, Kit 38^th.  (100+ in race)

U14:  Alex 3^rd, Alex 5^th, Josh 9^th, Josh 11^th, James 22^nd, Ben 37^th.  (100+ in race)

The U16’s and seniors all ran in one race, in which they finished as follows:

George 4^th, Rowan 5^th, Robbie 7^th, Henry 8^th, Adam 9^th, Oliver 10^th, Marcel 20^th, Ben 21^st, Ieuan 24^th, Joe 28^th, Will 37^th.
