Books for Breakfast

November 8, 2013

Following the success during last year’s Book Week, Inglefield House hosted ‘Books for Breakfast’, where parents were invited into their daughters’ classrooms to engage in a love of all things literary and to talk to the pupils about their favourite childhood characters; many of which are still loved today!

Each class had their own book character based activities, for parents to join in with. We had treasure hunts, guess who games, shared reading and much more. The girls really enjoyed sharing their love of books with mums and dads and benefited hugely from listening to an adult’s experiences of books and reading.

Following all the fun and games, parents were treated to well deserved breakfast.
