A small group of keen readers at Monmouth Prep School visited Monmouth School for Girls’ impressive library as part of a MAT reading group called Revolutio.
Led by Year 10 students Dilys, Flora and Francesca, the Year 6 Prep boys and girls had a tour of the library, asked questions about the range of genres available and how the books were organised.
After polishing off cookies, the children had a lively discussion about their current novel: Wolf by Gillian Cross.
The enrichment scheme, set up by Ms Susan White, is proving a huge success and the Year 6 children will be returning to the library next term to discuss a new novel.
