A budding filmmaker at Monmouth School for Boys was a finalist in a national awards ceremony at the House of Lords last night.
Dylan, from Year 10, was shortlisted in the Film the House awards for his lovely documentary, The Wonderful World of Hedgehogs.
It was a special evening for Dylan and his family, who had a memorable time at the glittering event in London.
Dylan is the town of Monmouth’s Hedgehog Champion and he was recognised in the Best Short Film Under-19s category.
Film the House is a parliamentary competition for UK-based student and independent scriptwriters, directors and film makers.
