On October 1st, Year 6 enjoyed a field trip at Margam Discovery Centre, Port Talbot.
We have been studying rivers during our Geography lessons and the field trip gave us the opportunity to investigate how rivers change as they journey from source to mouth. Wellies were an absolute must for the day which saw us all wading into the Nant Philip to measure the depth, width and velocity of the river. Inevitably some of the water found its way inside our boots but we all returned to school with a smile and a much improved understanding of river processes.
