As the build up to Inglefield House Eisteddfod gathers momentum, Year 5 undertook the challenge of creating a self-standing wire sculpture, depicting a Welsh legend in action. This is to coincide with their studies of figurature, in their art lessons. The amount of focus and concentration needed to complete the task was quite considerable, as you can see from some of the action shots! Leigh Halfpenny seemed to be a popular choice, however, it was great to see Welsh gymnasts, singers, athletes and footballers being used as inspiration for the girls’ wire sculptures. Well done to all of Year 5 for taking on the challenge!
