Year 3 History trip to Roman Amphitheatre

June 26, 2014

The sun shone for the girls to parade around the Amphitheatre in Caerleon. Year 3 girls impressed the staff at the Roman Legionary Museum in with their knowledge of life as a Roman soldier.

Year 3 had a fun packed day in Caerleon, discovering all about the Romans.  The trip was a great way to enhance their history project, Romans in Britain.  They were lucky enough to visit the most complete Amphitheatre in Britain, the Roman Legion Museum Gallery, the beautifully presented Fortress Baths and a reconstructed Roman Legionary Barrack room.
