Two Sixth Form students at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools have reached the national finals of a law competition.
Will and Ollie were among 10 Law school applicants from Monmouth who practised their powers of persuasion at The National Sixth Form Moot in Wales.
Daisy and Jayden, Logan and Tom, and Kieran and James also excelled, progressing to the second round of the competition.
The Year 12 students laid out their cases before judges and lawyers who helped in the event organised by two Oxford University students, Jacob Mills and Lily Beere.
During the day, all the Monmouth students learned a great deal about the processes and points of law involved.
Will and Ollie will now be preparing for the national finals at Cardiff University on Tuesday 27th June.
