Budding entrepreneurs at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools are celebrating a hat-trick of accolades in a business competition today.
The Sixth Form students won the Company of the Year honour in the Young Enterprise Wales Area Finals.
In addition to winning the overall main prize, the business-minded Monmouth students carried off the Sustainability Award and the Marketing Award.
As part of the annual Young Enterprise initiative, the students created a company, called Sterling, making handmade rings by upcycling silver-plated spoons.
The company of girls and boys in Monmouth Schools Sixth Form worked hard throughout the year on the project and company processes.
The students can now look forward to representing the region – and the schools – at the Welsh finals.
