The Student Council has had a productive Michaelmas Term. William, a PIII representative, put forward the idea of having beef burgers and fruit squash in place of our usual Friday fish and chips. Although Mrs Thomas took a lot of persuading, she relented when she was assured that the burgers will be home-made by the local butcher. The boys are delighted that this is being trialled one Friday per month. In addition, PI’s suggestion to have hot chocolate in the run up to Christmas was also agreed. The boys are looking forward to a warm refreshment on a cold winter’s morning on party day. Other requests for the introduction of basketball hoops and cricket stumps for use at playtimes are also being followed up. The pupil voice is really heard at The Grange!
