Skill on show in House rugby

December 8, 2018

The Year 3 House Rugby, which was rescheduled due to poor weather, took place on Thursday afternoon. All of the boys represented their houses admirably; there was lots of competition and great skill on display. The group stage ended with Grenville and Drake in the lead and competing for the glory in the final. It was a tense final with both teams closely matched and the score was tied at two tries all until the final seconds, when Grenville broke free and scored the winning try. Nelson and Raleigh couldn’t be separated in their play-off and ended in tied third place with a score of 2-2. This culminated the House competition for this year. The scores from the other year groups were combined to announce the winning House overall. This year’s winning house was Raleigh – Well done!
