Boarding

Boarding Overview

A stepping stone to university and beyond

The final two years at school are both challenging and filled with opportunities, with A levels on the horizon and the end of school in sight. Students are ready to spread their wings a little and we offer them more independence and expect them to take on greater responsibility at this stage.

Each Sixth Form boarder has their own individual room, most en-suite, as well as stylish, comfortable, communal spaces for socialising and relaxing.

We have a diverse mix of students from all over the world which gives an added cultural dimension to boarding life in the Sixth Form. All boarders have the opportunity to join in with a full programme of joint after-school and weekend activities.

Independence

Students learn how to look after themselves, manage finances and prioritise time, without compromising their studies.

Although meals are still provided in the schools’ dining rooms, we encourage our students to use the house kitchens to make snacks and learn some basic cooking skills in readiness for university life and beyond.
