Monmouth School for Girls’ netballers are celebrating after winning the South East Wales title.

The sharp-shooting first team recorded victories against Rougemont School, Coleg Gwent – Crosskeys, Croesyceiliog School and Caerleon Comprehensive School in the regional competition.

Monmouth will now travel to Swansea next month to battle it out in the Welsh Netball National Competition’s President’s Cup.

The Monmouth team (pictured) are looking forward to representing South East Wales against seven other leading netball schools from Wales in the annual event on 17th March.

Monmouth School for Girls won the President’s Cup for the first time in March 2017 after recording wins against Crickhowell High School, Brynteg School, Cardiff High School, Neath Port Talbot College, Ysgol Bryn Elian, Pembrokeshire College and Castell Alun High School.
