Seb scores on his regional football debut

Seb scored a goal on his regional debut.

A teenage footballer at Monmouth School for Boys has scored a fine goal on his regional debut.

Seb helped the Independent Schools Football Association’s (ISFA) South Under-16s team to a crushing 6-1 win against Essex Schools.

The 15-year-old netted in the second half of the match as the ISFA team put together a strong performance in their first outing at Chigwell School.

Seb  has now been selected for the team’s second fixture against Kent Schools at the City of London School in Lewisham on Sunday 4th November (11am).

The Monmouth School for Boys’ student was selected for Newport County Under-15s Academy last season and enjoyed a tour of the Czech Republic.

The attacker was also part of Monmouth School for Boys’ Under-15s team who were unbeaten during the last campaign and finished third in the National Schools Football Performance League for independent schools.
