Schools’ Wellbeing Conference proves a big hit

Misuse of social media and Internet safety were among the topics discussed at the annual Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools Wellbeing Conference at The Blake Theatre.
Amy Forbes-Robertson, from IT Happens, talked about the impact of pornography, misuse of social media, the recent Children’s Commissioner Reports, and what children really wanted from parents, in the event on Friday 30th June.
Graham Mulhern, a serial entrepreneur and chief executive officer of BeSecureOnline, addressed internet safety and the practical tools all parents should have in place to help their families stay safe online.
Michael Conroy, founder of the Men At Work Community Interest Company, focused on how to have constructive conversations on being safe and staying safe at home.
