Last Saturday saw some amazingly speedy athleticism from Aharon, in Form I, as he competed at the Welsh Regional Championships and did an amazing job in both of his events; the 60m sprint and the long jump.

Aharon had a great start out of the blocks, and ran a great 60m race achieving a new personal best time of 9.39 seconds and finishing just outside of the medals with a fourth place position within the East Wales region. Aharon wasn’t disappointed and was keen to move on to his next event for the afternoon, the long jump. Aharon secured a silver medal with his 3rd and final jump and was surprised and shocked when he learnt that he was a silver medalist within East Wales and he is pictured (left) proudly wearing his medal.

Aharon also had the opportunity to pose, with his first championship medal, with the 2017 Sports Personality Coach of the year winner, Christian Malcolm (former GB and Wales 200m star).

Having started his track training in September with The Christian Malcom Academy, Aharon’s hard work and commitment are obviously paying off and we look forward to hearing of more success in the future!
