The Year 2 staff team worked late into the afternoon on Monday, making their preparations for their end of topic party. With a barbecue area manned by Mr Wren, a ‘Dingo Disco’ area, ‘Selfie Shack’ and ‘Tinnie Target’ tent among other activities on offer, the Year 2 children had a terrific celebration to round off the term. Mrs Clifton and Mrs Jenkins offered Aboriginal face painting and cricket was also a popular choice. The sun came out in time for a bonza burger and a snag or two for lunch, followed by marshmallows and a round or two of ‘Walzing Matilda’ around the camp fire.
