Year 1 had a terrific time on their trip to Over Farm on Wednesday. The children visited the crops in the fields and impressed Alison with their bravery in tasting raw chard and curly kale! After a visit to the farm shop, where the children were looking at ‘food miles’ and the distance that different fruit and vegetables had travelled to the shop. The children enjoyed feeding the donkeys and goats before having a bumpy tractor ride around the farm.
