As a component of the Agincourt 600 celebrations Andrew Tuggey, High Sheriff of Monmouthshire, organised a competition to design a flag for Monmouth. The Agincourt School entries were very well received, with Llywelyn (6) being one of four finalists. Llywelyn, Harry, Sophie, Isla and Mrs Phillips were delighted to be invited to tea in the Mayor’s parlour at Shire Hall on Friday. We witnessed the unveiling of the winning flag design and had some delicious homemade cake with Mayor Graham Pritchard too.
