The children in Nursery have been learning the ‘R’ sound this week. On Tuesday the story of Rumplestiltskin took centre stage with coins to colour, sequencing activities and numbers to order. On Thursday the children made robin bird feeders in the morning but the afternoon was all about rockets, with balloon powered models flying through the classroom, to the noisy delight of the children! The children recorded the length of their rocket’s flight using steps and created a pictogram of their results.
