Nursery trip to Walnut Tree Farm

October 26, 2018

Those of you in possession of one 3 year old will have some idea of the huge amount of organisation and attention to detail required when organsing a trip for eighteen of them. So, with a good deal of preparation under their belts, Mrs Taylor and Mrs Cameron, assisted by their three glamorous assistants, loaded the extremely excited children onto the coach for the journey to Walnut Tree Farm. On arrival, the children had a quick snack before heading off to feed the goats, sheep, alpacas, donkeys and ponies. They thought the geese were hilarious, with all the honking and hissing that came with them, and the alpacas were also a big favourite. There was just enough time to play in both of the outdoor play areas before lunch. In the afternoon, the children had the opportunity to visit the rabbits in petting corner and play in the sand pits and play equipment in the barn. A very bumpy tractor ride was the highlight of the day for many, and then it was back on the bus and a little snooze on the journey home.
