Osbaston receiving their medals for winning the A tournament

Earlier this year we were delighted to host a mixed netball tournament, where we welcomed 120 students from local Monmouthshire primary schools including Osbaston, Overmonnow, Pentrepoeth, Trellech, Usk, Cross Ash and Raglan.

We are glad to say that the weather was on our side that afternoon. We had 7 courts in use with lots of very active children showing off their skills.

In the A tournament, Osbaston were crowned 2024 champions with Haberdashers’ Monmouth Prep taking second place by 2 points! 3rd was Overmonnow.

In the B tournament, it was a clean sweep for Haberdashers’ Monmouth Prep, with Y5 Spots taking the title, Prep B claiming 2nd and Y5 Stripes in 3rd place.

It was a wonderful day, and we look forward to hosting the tournament again next year.
