On Thursday Year 2 set off on their much anticipated trip to Cadbury World. They enthusiastically followed a trail to discover lots of facts about the chocolate making process and had the chance to handle some of the ingredients and equipment used to create some of our favourite bars. A trip to the 4D cinema, complete with 3D specs, and a ride in a purple car were much enjoyed by all. After lunch the children had an excellent workshop and enjoyed watching Tom dress up in the uniform of the factory workers and Ben modelling the scarf given to the most productive grower of cocoa. The children all tasted a pot of delicious melted chocolate and chose their own garnishes to top if off.
