On Wednesday morning, our excited Year 1 children set off to beautiful Puzzlewood on a fact-finding mission. The children collected specimens in their treasure boxes, made some extravagant leaf masks and hypothesised about what they might find when they explored the mystical woods.
After lunch they ran through the willow maze and challenged themselves on the assault course. As a big fan of ‘The Hobbit’ Puzzlewood is one of my favourite places and I was so pleased that the children shared my enthusiasm for this lovely spot.
