Our Reception classes enjoyed a trip to Malpas Fire Station in Newport. Their exclusive behind the scenes tour took in the road traffic accident team at work as well as the fire engines, and each child had the opportunity to sit in the fire rescue boat. The children looked at the uniform and quick-change areas, as well as checking out the catering facilities in the galley!  The children impressed the crew with their knowledge about the Fire Service and their interest and enthusiasm throughout the day.
