On Thursday the School and Nursery children celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday in style. The children were all cordially invited to a royal lunch in the dining hall. They were surrounded by patriotic bunting and wearing paper crowns which added to the party atmosphere. The Nursery children took part in a day of themed activities which included making union jack lanterns, cakes and cucumber sandwiches. They all enjoyed a very British afternoon tea, and perfected their bows and curtsies in readiness for any visiting royalty.
