The Nursery children have used the story of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ as the focus for their activities this week. They used gold coins to measure different sized characters from the story and planted runner beans, baked beans, and jelly beans! They found sticks of different lengths to measure at Forest school and Mrs Cameron showed the children how to use a fire starting kit, so toasted marshmallows were the order of the day.
