Summer Term – Week 8

As I sit to write this week’s edition, the comments, work and photos on my screen bring some much-needed sunshine to a dark, rainy day. Once again, I find myself proud of your children, grateful to the incredible team of staff and thankful for your herculean efforts as we race towards the end of term.

There never seems to be a quiet week at Agincourt and this week was no exception. Our Nursery children took on the roles of space cadets and successfully passed a week of intense training. Reception children had a focus on lighthouses, they learnt all about the life of Grace Darling and took time out to enjoy a ‘Mr Grinling style picnic lunch.’ Meanwhile, our Year 1 pupils took time to investigate the scientific question, ‘are bubbles always round?’ In addition, the children also learnt about the life of an astronaut.

Lastly, our Year 2 children spent some time designing, making and testing some incredible boats. As well as this, they have been busy developing their time and multiplication skills in Mathematics.
