Summer 2020 Week 5: 22/5/2020
Summer Term – Week 5
Can you believe we have reached Half-Term already? There is no question that the last few weeks have been a steep learning curve for us all and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate every single one of the children for the way in which they have embraced change and taken part in our provision wherever possible. I would also like to thank you for the tremendous support and dedication you have shown since the school closure, we appreciate that it hasn’t always been easy. Lastly, I would like to thank the incredible staff for their passion, commitment and resilience in delivering our remote provision.
It is safe to say that each and every one of you deserve a thoroughly restful break! In our learning this week, our Nursery department have been exploring the letter ‘h’ and taking part in some rather impressive yoga moves. Our Reception children have been learning how to tell the time and have explored self-portraits in Art lessons. Meanwhile our Year 1 pupils have set up shop to use money in problem solving and in their RE lessons they have been studying miracles. Lastly,
Year 2 have been learning about the history of Concorde and have been developing their measuring skills in Maths lessons.
