Summer 2020

Summer 2020 Week 4: 15/5/2020

Summer Term – Week 4

It seems incredible that we are at the end of our fourth week already. It has been another busy and impressive week on Seesaw with our Nursery children learning all about worms, Reception children learning about the Great Fire of London, while Year 1 children have been exploring the history of the train. Over in Year 2, pupils have been learning about the history of flight and have produced some amazing video creations this week. As ever, I am amazed by the commitment from our amazing pupils and you, our parent body. We do not underestimate the level of support that is required to achieve such an impressive standard of work. We do understand that juggling home schooling and work commitments can feel daunting. As we look to another week of remote learning, I encourage you to work to a routine that is ideal for you as a family, keep ‘lesson time’ short and balanced with regular periods of ‘down time.’ Lastly, please do not feel obligated to complete every learning task, it is far more important that our families feel happy and safe. If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to get in contact.
