Michaelmas Term – Week 3

This week has been a wet and windy one, and as a result, rather a lot of soggy and muddy kit has been sent home. Whilst we apologise for the additional washing, we do feel that it is very important that the children get out at play time – whatever the weather. Punctuating the day with plenty of fresh air and exercise leads to better concentration in the classroom, as well as the obvious health benefits. I have enjoyed leading assemblies at both the Boys’ and Girls’ Prep schools this week and it has been an absolute joy to see how well last year’s Year 2 children have settled in to their new routines. The transition process has been so smooth and this has been largely down to the excellent collaboration between the staff at all three schools. Thank you all.
