Lent 2020 Week 10: 20/3/2020

Lent Term – Week 10

In a week where we have all faced increasingly extraordinary circumstances, the constant that has brought a smile to our faces is your amazing children. The energy and enthusiasm they display as they tackle each day and each new challenge is commendable. As well as some fantastic poetry in Reception, Geography in Year 1 and Science in Year 2, the school has been awash with Easter craft and some very special gifts for Sunday. In a week, when we were also blessed by some much needed Vitamin D, Nursery children ventured off into the garden area to explore with Pammie, whilst the majority of the remaining pupils spent their break time congregating on the grass banks to make daisy chains and sun bathe.

As I sit here to compose this newsletter, it is abundantly clear that we are in unchartered territory. As we look ahead, I urge you to take care of yourself. We often underestimate how resilient children are, however; in times of uncertainty, the number one thing children need is a parent who stays calm and offers that reassuring shoulder on which to lean.

As always, I thank you for your kind words and continued support.
