« Back to NewsMiss Cross’ Class Assembly
June 23rd, 2015This week it was RS’s turn to take centre stage for their class assembly. They produced an excellent retelling of the story ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’ by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees, through commentary and dance. Featuring street dancing gorillas, twisting zebras and elephants, not to mention a rather majestic lion with his lionesses, the show had moments of hilarity, extreme energy and poignancy. The message of the assembly was summed up beautifully by one of our chimpanzees ‘If at first you don’t succeed, then try, try and try again’. Well done Miss Cross and team!
