Lights, Camel, Action!

December 13, 2016

I am going to find it very hard not to be too effusive with the praise as I am ridiculously proud of each and every one of our brilliant children. I know that there are many adults who would be totally daunted at the prospect of standing on stage at the Blake Theatre in front of an audience, let alone having to remember lines, cues, lyrics and choreography whilst under the spot light. Each and every child in the production was given the opportunity to say a line and they truly rose to the occasion. Huge thanks to Mrs Reynolds for her extensive musical input, who was ably assisted by Mr Wren on the drums during the show. I really don’t have the words to cover how grateful we all are to the creative genius that comes in the form of Mrs Clifton. Thank you for helping me realise the vision, for never calling my sanity into question and for the countless hours spent rehearsing dances and sewing and organising costumes. A final thank you to Mr Shakeshaft and the Agincourt staff crew. It truly has been a team effort and we couldn’t have done it without you all.
